Back in the land of sand...

Once again, its been too long since I have posted another picture. But I am kind of hoping to get a bit more photography done while I am in Saudi (doubt that, considering your not allowed to take photos freely on the streets). But I left India on the 1st. It was an extremely exhausting journey. A three and a half hour trip from India to Dubai, five hour stop over at the Dubai airport and then two hours from Dubai to Saudi.

I managed to capture these photos on the flight from India to Dubai.

Urban photography...

I never really understood what urban photography was really all about. Does it involve the element of people? Is it more architecture? I came across this video on ted.com . I guess it's a bit of both.

Kittens...

While driving my bike to the river to get a couple of shots, I came across these stray kittens that were sitting in the middle of a busy road. Alright, now I have no clue if these little guys were suicidle or just plain stupid, but I felt it my duty to take them off the road and put them some where safe.

Two panorama...

Two panoramic pics I captured. One is of an open field which grows rice and the other is of the river where truck drivers wash their huge lorries. [click on the pic for a better view]

Family picture...

So I have never been to a wedding in my life, until the December of 2008. But I made up for it by going for two weddings in two weeks. This was a pic of the family [in the city] when we decided to go for a friends wedding. 

Now the reason I am actually posting these two pics is because in the first one, everyone are in their own little worlds.

Blogging after months...

It has been a tad bit too long since I have started blogging again. To be honest thou, I have not really taken my camera out for quite sometime. But when I did, I was on a trip to visit the relatives in the village and the city. On the trip I managed to squeeze in some time for photography. So I reckon I shall get down to posting them up.
